The good
The trip to the zoo with the kids. We love to take the kids to the zoo. They still seem to love it too. Always a fun family time.
Elephants are a favorite. The zoo was giving away banks for the kids to save change to help build a new elephant house.
Taking the kids to see a funny movie. The kids have all read and loved the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. They love them and have been thrilled to see the movies. Read the books first!
Dad and the boys went to the museum to see the pirates exhibit. It was pretty awesome. Pirate swords and gold, and lots of new information.
The Auto show–watching the boys eyes light up as they see some really cool cars. They had a great time.
Sleeping in, hanging out with the hubby and kids.
The Mundane
Cleaning the house, doing laundry, paying the bills, watching kids, making new crafty stuff, grocery shopping…all that stuff called real life.
The bad
The skylight blowing off the roof!!! Not cool, we found it in the neighbor’s yard this morning. Now there is a hole in my ceiling. My hubby will take care of it soon. Here’s hoping for good weather and NO BIRDS!
Well that is my Spring break…only six weeks left until school is out and we will have all summer to have more fun like this!
Oh! I can’t believe that your skylight blew off! I hope that he can get that fixed nice and quick for you.
And the zoo is my family’s favorite too. Love love love it!
