Another new nephew

There is only one thing on my mind today.  I have three new little nephews.   The most recent one was born last Friday.  He is my parent’s 30th grandchild and the 6th in his family.

After a few days in the hospital, with doctors working to clear up his lungs, they realized he also has a heart problem.  Instead of three heart valves, he has only one.

Our little brother and sister-in-law are at the hospital with the baby today, waiting for doctor’s to give him a heart catheter, that will hopefully be a temporary fix until he can grow bigger.  Maren is tending the other five kiddos (if you live near her, please bring her treats and love) while their parents are busy.

Obviously, we are all feeling prayerful and concerned about this new little baby boy.

I walked outside and saw that my first sunflower bloomed today.  It made me feel comforted and hopeful, so I thought I’d share it.

I’m not a wonderful gardener, but I am thankful My Dear Husband encouraged me to plant these little seeds.  They bloomed just when I needed them.  🙂
