And when girls get together they go in cycles together?
Apparently Maren and I are on a bathroom re-doing cycle together!
Without even knowing it we both started fixing up our bathrooms on the same day. I know what you’re thinking, but I promise, we really didn’t plan it or talk about it beforehand. Although I do have a Copying Maren Problem (as does anyone who knows her because she’s so fab!) this time I was not copying, just cycling. 😉
I decided to redo the bathroom because of all this New Year’s Resolutions talk. I agree with Leslie (see yesterday’s comments if you don’t know her) that they don’t have to be things you don’t like or things you never do. That’s why this year I have been thinking over a resolution to change the things in the house that I hate. The ugly bathroom must be dealt with! I ran straight to Target and bought a new shower curtain and a cute bathmat. Then I ran straight to Lowe’s and bought paint.
My poor husband saw me starting to paint and looked a little dismayed but I assured him he doesn’t even have to step foot in there.
I will do it all and he can just smile and say he likes it!
Here’s a pic of the lame bathroom- see the brownish/orangish counter? I can’t replace it right now, so I’m just trying to make it look better.
I’m painting the walls a pretty blue.
