Yesterday we had a great big snowstorm. The snowflakes looked absolutely delicious- big, fat, fluffy and most importantly, non-stop.
When I went outside to shovel the driveway (ugh) I discovered that it was the most perfect snow (and I’ve seen plenty of snow in my day) I’ve ever seen for snowman building. Normally, I don’t even love snowman building, but this was just too irresistible.
So, Miss 5 and Miss 2 and I ended up having a little fun.
See, we even got the carrot nose. Miss 2 insisted on it.
And while we’re on the subject of snow, does anyone else remember the Suzie Snowflake song? I wasn’t around in 1951 when it was written- I’m not that old yet, geesh! But my mom used to sing this. If you’re feeling wintery, this is perfect. My little girls love it.
