Since it is our THIRD ANNIVERSARY, I have been reminiscing and thinking about all that has been written. Maren has shared how she got the idea for this little blog. Let me tell you how I got involved. First of all, I have to say that when blogs started getting popular and I noticed others reading and writing them, I had no intention of doing anything like that myself.
But I do have a serious disorder called, I Have To Obey My Big Sister, so when Maren asked me to join her, of course I said, “Yes! I’d Love Too!”
Since then I have become thankful for the chance to write things down again. When I was 8 years old and my mom gave me my first little journal with my picture on the front, I started writing away about everything that happened to me. And I wrote pretty much every single day of my life until I got into college. Then somehow between staying out all night with friends, getting married, and getting busier and busier with all my little kiddos, I stopped. And I really missed it. I started worrying in the back of my mind about losing all of my memories.
Would I be able to remember the absolute sweetness and wonder
of the things my little girls are doing?
And how hard it is to be a mom of these little kids?
And how much I love it?
So obviously, even though I don’t write down the most private thoughts of my heart here (I do have some qualms about privacy!) it has become a wonderful record of my little girls and our lives.
So, thank you to my sisters for thinking of this and asking me to write with you! It has been a great three years. ♥ ♥ ♥
