It’s DI Competition Day!

From what I have heard from Lynn the kids are prepped and ready to roll.
They did have a few close calls this week as they put the finishing touches on everything. I understand there was a rather risky/smoky chemical reaction resulting from mixed glue substances. Luckily, no one inhaled! (ha ha) Seriously, they were outside, can’t get much more well ventilated than that and all is well.
There was also a minor panic when some very important items measured small, but after a good session of creative brain storming (that’s what DI’s all about) the team came through with some amazing last minute ideas and hard work to fix things up.
(Sorry if I’m a bit vague on the details, remember I am interpreting Lynns’s mad DI-induced-vocalizations.)
Our fingers (and toes) are crossed that they will have an amazing and successful day!
