I know you will be shocked to learn I do not have a Mr. 14 high school folly this week. In fact he did not even get left at the lake on his science field trip!
However a couple of his friends have provided us with some more freshman fun.
The same friend who helped Mr. 14 remember he owns a backpack experienced a folly of his own this week. He and some friend were headed off campus to Taco Bell for lunch. He was running and rummaging through his pack at the same time. Uh oh…all of a sudden he was sucker punched by a tree! Hard enough to give him a black eye, scratches and possible whiplash! Yikes!!!!
The two friends with him were laughing so hard they fell down. Boys are sooo nice. He was okay but seriously mortified.
Another close friend also had a fun freshman moment. He went to lunch early, when he should have actually been in his geography class. He was pondering why he had never realized how many of his friends had the same lunch hour as him. Then the light dawned and he realized his mistake. He found my Miss 17 and asked her what to do when you inadvertently ditch a class. He followed her around till his next class. Thankfully she is very sweet and was nice to him.
