So, I read this thing, I don’t remember where…I’ll try to find out…but they were talking about women overeating. I know, I know, this topic is just the thing you wanted to hear the week before Christmas. Listen, just put down the fudge for 5 seconds…
this is interesting.
So, they put a bunch of average weight women in a room, with treats, and showed them a documentary, nothing special, then offered them the treats. The women ate some and left. No big deal. Then they put a bunch of fat chicks in the room with the same treats and showed them the same movie. The fat chicks ate the same amount of treats as the other women.
THEN they showed the two groups of women a romantic movie with a touching ending.
ALL THE WOMEN ATE EVERYTHING IN SIGHT.
I was thinking:
DUH.
So, according to the latest research, Women Are Emotional Eaters.
WHAT?????
Unbelieveable! Amazing! Wow! Who knew? Geez!
Incredible! Astounding! I just cannot believe this!
And how helpful! Don’t you just wish with all your hearts you could have donated money to this cause? or Twinkies?
What’s that you say? You ATE all the Twinkies? Yesterday? When you were upset?
Hmmmm….I’m thinking…this may sound crazy…but maybe, just maybe, you ate when you were emotional?
YOU are an emotional eater!
Huh!
*snort*
‘They’ are idiots.
You are excused. Go back to your fudge.
Hahaha! So does this give me some excuse now? Cuz I have 7 kids, so there’s always LOTS of emotions going on here. Not to mention that to feed my crew, I’m constantly in the kitchen or thinking about food.
The article didn’t really say what to do next….use your own best judgement:)
That explains why I’m eating all the chocolate my boss gave me and the guys haven’t touched one bar of their chocolate. Yes, I work in an office of men. I’m going to hurt someone.
I know you said to put down the fudge, so I just ate my hershey’s kisses while I read instead. 😉
(P.S. I really did. 🙂
