Despite the fact that we have a cookbook coming out (wahoo! we’ll let you know when it’s ready!) and we are all veterans in the kitchen at this point, I have to admit, sometimes I can not cook. Sometimes I am in a “ruin everything I touch” phase. For example, tonight I made yucky brownies. It sounds like something that would be impossible to do, but I did it.
That said, lately I have been repeatedly ruining chocolate chip cookies. Again, it sounds impossible, but it is, sadly, true.
Now, I really, really, really love chocolate chip cookies so this is upsetting. I am hoping that this phase will end soon and I can return to my usual delicious baking skills. In the mean time I just wanted to post this picture of the last batch of crazy chocolate chip cookies I attempted.
