So, here’s a funny story:
Earlier this week, two funny and fabulous ladies stopped by to visit me. We always have a great time chatting together and laughing a lot. I am pretty good at keeping them in my house longer than they intend to stay.
Turns out Miss 3 is even better at keeping them in my house longer than they intended and she’s good at making them do things they never intended to do, also!
While we were upstairs having a grand ol’ time, Fat Happy Walking Baby, Little Miss 3, and Very Cute Little Boy were downstairs having a grand ol’ time of their own.
With George the Turtle.
They emptied an entire canister of George food all over the basement carpet and in George’s tank! It was a turtle FEAST!
So, my fabulous and funny friends ended up crawling on their hands and knees all around my basement, trying to pick little turtle sticks out of the carpet.
(aren’t they wonderful friends to do such a thing??? thanks girls!)
I told Miss 3 if she ever feeds George food again, she won’t be seeing some of her favorite toys for awhile, so I think hope (cross fingers) I’ve prevented future reruns of the turtle FEAST.
(I spent the rest of my day scooping out soggy turtle sticks out of the tank and adding fresh water. ew!)
