I finished my all-too-time-consuming repainting of the kitchen cabinets. Now for the fun part: posting pictures!
Here’s the “before” pic of my kitchen:
My Dear Husband thinks it is unholy blasphemy to paint wood, but one day for some crazy reason he said, we could paint these kitchen cabinets some kind of dark brown.
I started painting RIGHT AWAY before he could change his mind!

Now, I do have one teeny tiny misgiving. I think I may have created “kitchen schizophrenia.” Look at this pic:
See how half of this kitchen is all sleek and stark and the other half is happy and homey? I’m not sure what to do about this- My Dear Husband thinks I should cut my losses and let them be two completely different rooms, but I am not so sure. I would love any advice you have to give right about now. . . . .
