Usually, with 5 girls, I try to avoid all things “girly.” Well, that isn’t true, exactly. We are definitely drowning in pink clothes, barbies, my little pony, and polly pocket.
What I mean to say, is that I avoid being gratuitously, unnecessarily girly. I don’t say things like, “let’s have a girl party!” or “girl’s night out!” It’s just too obvious that everyday life around here is one continuous girl party.
Today, however, at the request of Miss 7 we had “girl fest.”
Complete with glitter, nail polish, and giggling.
