For my birthday, My Dear Husband, bought me an Adele CD. A perfect gift for listening to while I drive carpool, right?
Well, maybe that would be right if I wasn’t riding around with a Crazy Young Fanatical Adele Fan. (in other words, Miss 3).
The first time I played it she caught on right away,
“Mom, is this the lady that sings Rumor Has It?” (Way to have a distinctive voice, Adele!)
I replied affirmatively and all was well, right up until the CD moved along to another song.
At this point Miss 3 went bonkers. She absolutely had to have Rumor Has It again and again and again and again well, you get the idea.
As of this morning, she’s branching out. Now she also wants the tic-tic-tic song. This one baffled me, until she busted out with the lyrics. “You know, Mom, the one that says there’s a fire in my heart!”
Oh yes, got it.
