We had the family vote on puppy names this week. Mr. 15 got to pick the boy name since his birthday is coming up. The boy list included names such as Zeus, Bronco, Clyde and Trix. He picked Clyde.
Then we had a family vote to narrow down girl names. It was a long list that included Hanna Banana, Daisy, Pinky. In each round, everyone had three votes. Those with the most votes moved on to the next round. The final girl name was Bonnie.
I called the farm to talk to the gal where the puppies lived to let her know the names. She gave us the fantastic news that the puppies could come home with us this week end.
In our usual fashion we did NOT tell the kiddos, choosing instead to surprise them. We went for a long drive on Sunday afternoon to pick up the puppies. We told the kids we were just off to site see where a new church building was going to be built. (For the record we did do that also.)
They were delighted to get to bring the pups home. Bonnie and Clyde are home and loving it. Here are some pictures
