It’s official:
Fat Happy Baby is walking!
She is toddling all around with the adorable determination that makes babies learning to walk so absolutely wonderful.
She is mad every single second that she is not practicing her new skills.
Her sister are crazy with delight and can’t stop surrounding her with advice, tips, and encouragement.
She is right on schedule- all my kiddos walk around 15 months. I am thrilled and sad because now, of course, she looks big to me. Suddenly, I can see all the big girl things she does, like pick up a play phone and say ‘hello’ or wave bye bye when I take her out of her high chair and off to bed. Yesterday the little girls and I spent waaaay too much time watching family videos and looking at her tiny, new baby cuteness. (sniff)
Seriously I am just glad she’s so bald, because that’s almost the last babyish thing left about her. . . . If she had hair, I would be a total wreck!
