Great vs Horrible

Fat Happy Walking Baby (I just can’t say toddler quite yet) is doing something that is great and horrible at the same time.

She is Watching TV.

Horrible because everyone knows that TV is not great for kids.  Brain shuts off, mouth hangs open, and kids turn into lumpy couch cushions.  (Although Miss 3 did learn the whole alphabet from PBS. . . . just saying . . . . )

Great because I am busy painting the kitchen cabinets.  I put her downstairs, thinking I would check on her every little while, and when I went back to look, she was sitting in the same spot, perfectly safe, and not choking on anything!

I know it’s bad.  But it also, at the moment, seems quite good.

I am going to use it to my advantage and straighten her out when the kitchen is done!

Oh gosh, just embrace it! I wish Michael would learn the joy that is TV, then maybe I could get something done!
