Gingerbread Fun

Not very many people know this about me, but I have gingerbread skills. Baking, shaping, stacking, decorating, and gluing together with Royal Icing. I have Royal Icing skills…not professional skills. I never took a class or got a Royal Icing degree….they probably have those, though…hmmmm…

Anyway, every year, the kids and I build gingerbread houses and other various structures. Some years, I let the kids do most of the decorating and such, but some years, I just feel the need to have my own project. This was one of those years.

Behold!

12 Days of Christmas in Gingerbread

Now, you can waste your time wondering where I got the time for this, but that would be a waste of time.

Where there’s a will, there’s me… er, a way:)

I thought she was going to go crazy within the first day of not working on it, Like roaming the house with Royal frosting in her hand looking for things to put candy and gingerbread on.
