I don’t have a sense of smell. . . . usually.
But once in awhile, for no reason that I can determine, my sense of smell kicks in.
The problem with this is that because I usually smell almost nothing, I can’t really even tell if smells are good or bad.
EVERYTHING STINKS!
Last week I was plagued for three days by the smell of . . . . something. I begged my best smeller, Miss 6 to tell me what it was, and tried in vain to explain what I was experiencing.
I was sniffing all around my house. Was it me?? Do I always smell like that? Was it my house? The pumpkin Miss 9 brought home? The change of the seasons??
I have no idea what on earth it was but for three days and three nights that annoying odor followed me around.
Thankfully, this week I am back to normal. No dirty diaper smells, No whatever-the -heck -that-was smell, NO NOTHING.
I don’t know how all of you with complete olfactory perception can cope with the world around us because in my opinion, EVERYTHING STINKS. : )
