I VOTED. And I hope you have, too. Or you are going to soon. Or you will later tonight.
I waited to post until after I voted, thinking that Miss 3 just might give me a little something to write about. . . . . but she didn’t. She was almost perfectly well-behaved while I filled out my ballot. Miss 1 was equally cheerful. No fussing, or wiggling around trying to get out of the stroller, or (her newest phase) bonking Miss 3 on the head.
It was a little election day *miracle*.
The girls just watched me, the volunteers praised me for coming in even with my kiddos and my big stroller, and I was on my way.
Now I am waiting around for tonight’s results. My Dear Husband will be going down to “party headquarters” with his fam to mingle and wait for the votes to be counted. And I was contemplating going with him.
But then I realized, that sadly, I am one of those emotional, logic-out-the-window, kind of people, who probably shouldn’t be allowed out in public tonight. The chances of me yelling out a bad word or two are just too great.
So, I will be home. Maybe I will eat ice cream. And yell at the tv. I will probably be much less well behaved than my kiddos were today.
It’ll be great!
