Our camping trip rocked.
We had hot springs, geocaching, fishing, and sleep walking in a tent with 7 people in it. (Imagine that for a moment. . . . Miss 9 sleep walking around and on top of her sisters in the middle of the night. Makes for a very interesting experience.)
Miss 1 played in the dirt just like I knew she would and she loved it.
She also loved her new camping/backpacking crib. We have been wanting a super portable baby bed and we finally got one. It’s called the PeaPod and I love it.
See how cozy it is? It just pops up and it’s ready. It has a little tiny mattress in the bottom so the baby won’t be laying on the cold ground. And it only weighs four pounds. That means we can backpack with it!
And that’s exactly what we’re doing. We’re heading out again and next time, we will be backpacking in. No numbered campsites, no water pumps, no bathrooms.
Just us and the trail. It will be awesome.
“Us & the trail” sounds like some kind of nightmare…..
