Today I did something I shouldn’t have done. . . . I calculated how many years I am going to be driving my FIVE girls to elementary school.
Including this year, I have eleven waaay too many years left.
Luckily, for me, though, I am not driving a regular old run of the mill minivan any longer.
Oh no.
I am blasting off, through the galaxy, in a state-of-the-art star craft!
So far, we have traveled past all of the planets (including Pluto), braved the dangers of the asteroid belt, and discovered that astronauts don’t need to bring food on their voyages because the sun is actually made of cheesy crackers and other edible delights!
who knew?!?!?!?
I may never leave my garage again without counting down and yelling blast off.
The absolute best part of being the pilot of this space ship/star craft, is that all the astronauts know they must be buckled for safety, and they are much too professional and grown up to scream and cry during this procedure . . . . . and the star craft can only play Rumor Has It once a day.
I feel like Ms Frizzle on the Magic School Bus:
How I love your fun daughters…especially the “gem” in the bunch:)
