I don’t usually post on Saturdays. But I have to. It is a dire matter of Procrastination!
I have made job lists for all my girls. Miss 8 is happily vacuuming the upstairs. Miss 6 is cleaning bathrooms. Miss 6 is cleaning the tv room. All my little bees are busy, except me, the Mama Bee. I folded all the laundry and made the girls put theirs away. But now I don’t want to do my part- I don’t want to put mine away. If I go up there to put mine away, I will look around my room and realize I also need to organize Tiny Baby’s clothes (after I nurse her because I can hear her starting to cry right now), clean off my dresser, hang up my new shoe rack, make my bed, put away the bassinet, and vacuum my room. Then it will be time to make the girl’s lunch and if I go in the kitchen I will see the dishes need to be put away and the floor needs to be swept and mopped.
So I am quickly blogging to avoid it. But my time is up. Miss Tiny is really starting to holler now. So it begins, I guess!
We are procrastinating by going to the parade of homes. If I’m not home to see the mess then I don’t have to worry about it, right?!!!
Anna, that sounds wonderful! I love the Parade of Homes. This is the first minute I’ve sat down since I wrote about my procrastination minute- since then I have fed all the kids, finished up most of the bedroom, and now, sadly, it is kitchen time. I don’t know if I’ll get to the dresser and the bathroom floor or not. . . . . .
This sounds like “If you give a mouse a cookie” or “if you give a moose a muffin.” 🙂
haha I didn’t think of that but I guess it does. 🙂
